Why I created Missionary moms
I found something and I wanted to share it.
EXERCISE ACCOUNTABILITY
I joined an accountability exercise group in 2020 with desire to become more consistent in exercise (and lose the baby fat after baby #3) It was an online group-We had a WhatsApp chat group to check in with daily and just chat about life in general. And there was an online exercise platform that we all used but not necessarily the same programs (though the group challenges were so fun when we did them) Best of all this group was made up of Christians.
FRIENDS I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED
Did the group work! Yes, I am still consistent today with exercise and can’t imagine going too long without doing a good sweaty routine! But more than that I gained a group of friends I didn’t know I needed, not just for exercise but FOR LIFE SHARING!
FIRST THOUGHTS
I realized the power of the idea of COMMUNITY and ACCOUNTABILITY with the exercise group!
This got me thinking! Why couldn’t I have a MOM GROUP like this! Where we share life connecting with each other through our real battles .
A place where we could have COMMUNITY, sharing our joys and struggles. And encourage one another!
A place where we could keep each other ACCCOUNTABLE with things like being consistent in discipline or cheerful in spirit.
A place to find RESOURCES for growing in Christ, balance, homeschooling, parenting, and growing in emotional, mental, and physical health.
